FAQ
Good questions
What is the difference between filter, omni and espresso roasts?
Filter roasts are lighter and brighter, made for pour over and plunger. Espresso roasts are developed a little more for body and sweetness. Omni roasts sit in between and work on most brewers.
Which grind should I choose?
Choose the grind for the way you brew: espresso for a machine, moka for a stovetop pot, filter for drip and pour over, plunger for a French press, coarse for cold brew. Whole bean is freshest if you have a grinder. See the brew guides.
How fresh is the coffee?
We roast to order, so your coffee is roasted after you buy it. The exact timing is Tuesday and Thursday.
How much is shipping?
A$12 flat rate across Australia, and free on orders of A$120 or more. More on the shipping page.
Do subscriptions really work?
Not in this demo. You can choose to repeat a bag every 2 or 4 weeks and it shows in your cart and order summary, but nothing is charged and no recurring orders are created.
Can I return coffee?
Return policy: unopened bags can be returned within 14 days for a refund, and opened bags are only returned if faulty.
Do you sell wholesale?
Yes. Cafes, bakeries and workplaces can send an enquiry on the wholesale page.
Is this a real shop?
No. Northside Roast Co. is a fictional brand and this is a demo site. Nothing is sold or shipped.
