What does INCI mean?
INCI stands for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients. It is the standard way to name cosmetic ingredients. Lists run from the largest amount to the smallest.
Do your products contain fragrance or scent compounds?
Some do. Lemon myrtle products contain citral and limonene, which occur naturally in the oil, and sandalwood products have a woody scent. These are listed on each product page. The quiz can steer you to lighter-scented options.
Why do you not show reviews or ratings?
This demo does not include them. We would rather describe ingredients clearly than show numbers we cannot back up.
Do you sell sunscreen?
No. If you use the Finger Lime Smoothing Serum, wearing a daily sunscreen from another maker is a sensible habit.
How long do products last once opened?
Shelf life after opening: 6 months. A real store would print the period-after-opening symbol on every pack.
Skin and patch testing
Are your products cosmetic or medical?
Cosmetic only. They are about how skin looks and feels. We do not make medical claims. If you have a skin condition, or a concern about your skin, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
How do I patch test?
- Wash and dry a small patch of skin on your inner forearm.
- Apply a small amount of the product.
- Leave it for 24 hours without washing the area.
- If you notice redness, itching or discomfort, rinse it off and do not use the product.
Are your products suitable for sensitive-feeling skin?
Some have short ingredient lists and no added essential oils, and are tagged for sensitive-feeling skin. No product suits everyone, so a patch test is always sensible.

How much is shipping?
Flat rate shipping is A$12 anywhere in Australia. Orders of A$120 or more ship free.
How long will my order take?
Sample policy: orders are packed within 3 business days, then take 2 to 7 business days to arrive.
Do you ship overseas?
Not in this demo. Australia only.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
Sample policy: unopened products can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Contact us first and we will send details.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please email us within 7 days with a photo of the product and packaging. We will send a replacement or refund you.

What does GST mean on my order?
All prices include GST. At checkout we show how much of your total is GST, which is one eleventh of the total including shipping.
Is this a real store?
No. Saltbush Botanics is a fictional brand and this is a demo. No payment is taken and nothing is shipped.
