What it does

Six jobs it takes off the front desk

Checks the suburb first

If the job is outside the service area it says so politely before taking any details.

Triages urgent or next day

Gas smell, burst pipe, sewage, no water: urgent. A dripping tap: next day. If it is unclear it asks if water is still running and whether it can be shut off.

Reaches the on-call plumber

After hours, an urgent job creates a ticket and transfers the call to the on-call number.

Logs next day jobs

Name, address, access notes and the problem, as a ticket the office sees first thing.

Takes quote requests

A short description of the work and a good callback time. No prices quoted.

Keeps callers safe

For a gas smell it tells the caller to leave the building and call 000 from outside, and nothing else.
